Marc Morató specializes in refined and singular looks for his many commercial, music video and feature film clients. He has colored projects that have garnered awards in many festivals such as Queen Palm Film Festival, Berlin Flash Film Festival, Oaxaca FilmFest, Versi Di Luce and Rome Independent Prisma Awards among others, and he has collaborated with many of the industry’s leading talents.
In the commercial realm, Marc Morató has colored spots for top brands including Audi, Nike, Cupra, Louis Vuitton, Rimowa, Coca Cola, H&M, Chrysler, Samsung and Turkish Airlines, among many others. In June 2023 he won a Bronze Lion award at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for Color Grading/Color Correction of the creative piece »Trajectory» of the Red Cross. He has also been awarded several times with the ‘Magda Award for Best Colorist’ by the APCP (Asociación de Productoras Publicitarias de España, in english ‘Association of Advertising Producers of Spain’) in recognition of his work. Recent music work includes projects for artists including Dua Lipa, Shakira, Bad Bunny, Karol G, Rosalía, J Balvin, Bad Gyal, Nicky Jam, C. Tangana, Rels B, Nathy Peluso and more.
Marc Morató began his career as a colorist in 2006 in Barcelona and he has been part of Metropolitana’s team for 11 years.
